In the Satellite TV business there are 2 big boys in town that's have been waging war on each other for years and these 2 major suppliers are Direct Tv and Dish Network. Even though these two companies are extremely similar in almost every area of service there are still a few distinguishable differences that we are going to cover on this page.
DISH NETWORK
Dish Network is known to have the largest bandwidth allocations which means it can broadcast up to 500 channels to your doorstep so for variety of movie and show channels Dish network is the leader there. One major negative here is that Dish Network does not offer the prime time sports packages that Direct TV does, so this may be a major determination for you men on sundays when choosing which NFL or NBA sports game you want to lay back and watch.
DIRECT TV
Direct TV is the veteran of the Satellite Tv providers and therefore has seniority over Dish network, but that's not to say it is the better of the two, but on of its advantages is that it specializes in giving its viewing audiences awesome sports packages like MLB Extra Innings,NHL Center Ice,NBA League Pass,to My favorite NFL Ticket, and these packages can bring almost every game to your doorstep. Even though Direct Tv offers many channels and movies for people of all ages, they also cater to the sports fanatic in all of us.
Selecting a Satellite TV service provider can be a tedious task but like all other family tasks you have to take into consideration what each and every family member likes to watch, and hopefully something you and your significant other can sit down and view once in a while.
